UP’s assembly becomes digital, tablet on every seat, LED screen, 37 seats have been increased, read full details

The budget session of the UP Vidhan Sabha is starting from May 23. When the budget session begins, the UP Vidhan Sabha will look a lot changed. The e-assembly system has been implemented in the Vidhan Sabha. The entire proceedings of the assembly will be available live on social media platforms. This time 37 seats in the assembly have also been increased. Each seat has a tablet. Every seat has been reserved. MLAs can ask questions from their own seats. At the same time, the name is also written in front of everyone’s seat. The cabinet minister will sit in the front seat, behind him will sit the minister of state with independent charge, behind him will sit the minister of state. A large LED has also been installed in front. On which the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly can be seen.

However, before the start of the budget session, on May 20 and 21, an enlightenment program of the members of the UP Legislative Assembly has been kept, which will be started by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. On May 21, a training session has been held for the ministers of the government and all the members of the 18th Legislative Assembly.

On May 22, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana has also called an all-party meeting, in which discussions will be held with the leaders of all parties on the smooth running of the House. On May 23, the session will begin with the Governor’s address. On May 26, the first budget of Yogi-2 will be presented in the house. This time the proceedings of the Assembly will continue for six days in a week i.e. on Saturday.

This time there are about 200 members in the assembly, who have become MLAs after winning the elections for the first time. Former Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit, former Leader of Opposition Ramgovind Choudhary, former BJP President Laxmikant Bajpai and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna will train the MLAs about parliamentary traditions in the enlightenment program of the newly elected MLAs.

On the other hand, CM Yogi on Thursday (May 19, 2022) inaugurated the beautification works in the assembly gallery. During this, along with CM Yogi, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Finance Minister Suresh Khanna were also present.
