In the country’s national capital Delhi, two separate incidents of robbery and murder-robbery took place in the past. Which was executed by the same criminal but the police could not find the murderer. He was also seen in the CCTV footage but his character was not understood. This criminal first robbed a person in a park, then after robbing another youth seriously injured, who later died.
According to the police, one incident happened in a park in Delhi and another similar robbery and murderous attack was reported from a person belonging to Tilak Nagar. The first incident of these incidents was reported on the night of 22 February at around 8 pm. It was about a man lying unconscious in a park in Paschim Vihar. While the second call came from the hospital in which a person who was injured in the park was picked up and brought.
When the police reached the information, the first information person was identified as Santosh Kumar, who was a guard by profession. At the same time, the person with second information was identified as Suresh Kumar, who was robbed and stabbed. Suresh, who worked in the bakery shop, later died. During interrogation, Santosh told that the attacker had a white spot on his hand and his muffler was left behind at the spot.
Then the police took the help of sniffer dog Mickey. Mickey detects the smell after sniffing the muffler and alerts the police to the criminal’s escape route. Meanwhile, the Aadhar card of Suresh Kumar was found near the bench between the bushes. Then the CCTV footage of the spot was checked and a suspicious person was seen but the appearance was not understood. In this, a man was seen wearing a mask, wearing a shawl and carrying a bag.
The police interrogated the people of the area and several policemen in plain clothes were deployed in the parks of the area. Several teams were formed to trace the suspect and some people living along the roads were questioned. One of these people sensed the person’s appearance and told that he often comes to the park in the evening. Police increased surveillance and then arrested the man on March 6.
The DCP said that 24-year-old Kamal alias Karan was behind these incidents. His mother died when he was young and his father also passed away while studying in class 10th. Then he left his studies and got involved in anti-social activities. Kamal also got married but due to his works, his wife also left him soon. After this Kamal got addicted to alcohol.
Then Kamal started committing crimes for drinking alcohol and fulfilling his hobbies. He has been involved in several incidents of robbery, theft and snatching. Along with this, he also told during interrogation that a day before his arrest i.e. on March 5, he had carried out a snatching incident in Uttam Nagar.
