Azam Khan is once again the subject of discussion in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, Azam Khan’s media in-charge Fasahat Ali Khan gave such a statement, due to which there was a stir in the politics of the state. After Fasahat’s statement, speculations are being made that this statement has been made by Azam Khan and Azam Khan may leave the Samajwadi Party.
Targeting SP chief Akhilesh Yadav at the SP meeting in Rampur on Sunday, Azam’s media in-charge Fasahat Ali Khan alias Sanu said, “Thanks to the Muslims that the party has won 111 seats in the elections.” “When the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government has filed an FIR against Muslims, their properties are being attached and recovery is being made from them, then the party president remains silent,” he said.
Fasahat Khan did not stop here, but in the meeting he sarcastically said, “Our clothes stink to our national president. Akhilesh and his father (Mulayam Singh Yadav) became CM with the help of Muslim votes but Azam Khan’s name was not considered for the post of Leader of Opposition in the current assembly. You have made us enmity with BJP, only we will get punishment and you will enjoy.
Azam’s media in-charge also alleged that “Akhilesh gave a speech in the assembly, but did not take Azam’s name even once. Akhilesh has met Azam only once in jail so far. Should we accept what Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that Akhilesh Yadav himself does not want Azam Khan out (from jail).” Fasahat Ali Khan told The Indian Express that, “We would advise Azam sahib to leave the SP. Azam sahib had resigned from the Lok Sabha so that he could raise the voice of the people in the UP assembly. But the party did not make him the Leader of the Opposition.”
Let us inform that Azam Khan has a great influence on the Muslim vote and despite being imprisoned, Azam Khan and his son have won the election by a margin of more than 60 thousand votes. However, Azam Khan could not take the membership of the assembly due to his imprisonment. Azam Khan has also resigned from the membership of Lok Sabha. Azam Khan is one of the big Muslim leaders of the state and he has a great influence on the Muslim vote.
