The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, which is going to form the government for the second consecutive time in Uttar Pradesh, is going to focus on employment soon after the swearing-in. Blueprint is being prepared for this. The BJP government will focus on women living below the poverty line in the next five years. Preparations are on to start the Atta-Masala mill scheme for poor women. Immediately after the formation of the government, the Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation will start giving the benefit of this scheme to women on a war footing.
The BJP government has benefited from the schemes run keeping in mind the women. It is believed that a large number of women voted for the BJP. The schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, construction of toilets, Jan Dhan accounts and free ration at the time of Corona have directly benefited the BJP. Now the government is going to work towards connecting women with employment. Under the new scheme, women will be given a grant to set up a flour and spice mill unit. The government believes that this scheme will provide strength to women. Along with giving them employment opportunities, it will make them strong to take care of the family.
Under the scheme of the government, first of all, 125 women per district will be benefited in the districts of 18 divisional headquarters of the state. A total of 2250 women will be able to establish their flour-masala mill unit by joining the scheme. 20 thousand will be given per woman for setting up the unit. In this, 10 thousand rupees will be given as grant and the remaining amount will be given as interest free loan from special central assistance. Starting this scheme as a pilot project from 02 districts, 17 women beneficiaries have also been selected. In the rest of the districts, preparations for connecting women to the scheme will be started more rapidly.
