Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Indresh Kumar has advocated for putting pressure on Russia, India’s all-time friend. He has said that India should put pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop attacking Ukraine. RSS national executive member Indresh Kumar urged the government to join hands with other countries to press Russian President Vladimir Putin to immediately stop a military offensive against Ukraine.

A senior campaigner of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has supported Ukraine instead of India’s traditional friend Russia, saying that Russia should be pressured to stop the attack. The senior RSS pracharak said in one of his messages that governments, politicians, diplomats, defense experts, civil society people of all countries of the world including India should come together and adopt the path of dialogue to stop the war immediately, President Vladimir of Russia. Putin should be under pressure. India wants peace. No such situation should be created which encourages war. The horrors of war are quite frightening, painful and unbearable.

He emphasized that war does not solve any problem, but it harms humanity. He called on global leaders, diplomats and civil society people to persuade Putin to find a solution to the problem through dialogue. Indresh Kumar, the founder of Rashtriya Muslim Manch and Rashtriya Christian Manch, appealed to the leaders of the Muslim and Christian community to suggest to Russia the path of peace, harmony and brotherhood.
Modi-Putin talks
It should be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday in view of the situation arising out of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Appealing to stop the violence immediately, the Prime Minister called on all parties to make concerted efforts to return to the path of diplomatic dialogue and dialogue. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister Modi had reiterated his “longstanding conviction” during the talks that the differences between Russia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) grouping should only be “honest and serious”.
