According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, heat wave will prevail at different places in Jharkhand, Telangana and Rayalaseema during April 4-6. The temperature in these areas may increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius during the next three days. Heat like conditions will also persist in North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha till April 7. There will be strong sunlight here. Due to this, an increase in heat can be seen. Apart from this, there is a possibility of hot weather in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till April 7.
Temperature reached 43 degrees Celsius
The Meteorological Department said that during the last 24 hours, extreme heat was observed in Rayalaseema. The maximum temperature recorded in Nandyal was 43 degrees Celsius. At the same time, in areas of Karnataka, Central Maharashtra and Vidarbha, the maximum temperature is being recorded above 42 degrees.
There will be heavy rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Assam and Meghalaya today and tomorrow. At the same time, an alert has been issued for heavy rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh till April 7. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will receive light to moderate rainfall till April 9. Scattered light or moderate rainfall with isolated thunder and lightning is likely over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand from 6 to 9 April. Whereas there may be rain in Bihar on 7th and 8th April.
Delhi’s climate
The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday was 36.6 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees Celsius more than the normal temperature in this season. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather in Delhi on Thursday and has predicted that the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius.
