Chandigarh. World Punjabi Organization International President Vikramjit Sahni on Wednesday announced the establishment of Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Skill University in Punjab in collaboration with the state government. It will provide job related skills like Electrician, Welder, Fitter, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic, Information Technology, Web Designing, Coding, Graphic Designing, Solar Panel Technician, Junior Nurse and Hospitality.
Students will be provided jobs in Punjab and UAE, Canada, Europe, Japan and other countries.
Sahni is already running two Vishwa Kaushal Kendras in New Delhi and Amritsar, providing free skills and employment to thousands of youth.
He said that he has invited Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to give job letters to 1,000 youths of Punjab trained by Sun Foundation on Baisakhi.
He is also running Swami Vivekananda De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center in Amritsar and further announced that his NGO will set up drug rehabilitation and skilling centers in various districts of Punjab in collaboration with the state.
