Bijapur. A joint team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Bijapur Police has arrested six Naxalites from three places. Four suspects were nabbed with explosives near Padeda Reggadgattapara drain. He admitted to working with the Naxalite organization. Similarly, one Naxalite each has been nabbed from two other places. After producing everyone in the court, they were sent to jail from there.
Confirming this, Bijapur SP Kamlochan Kashyap said that under the anti-Naxal operation being run in the district, the police of DRG Bijapur police station went out on patrol on February 24. When four suspects were nabbed near the Padeda Reggadgattapara drain, he admitted to working closely with the Naxal organization. These include Sonu Korsa, Munna Hapka, Mangal Korsa and Sonu Hapka. Two tiffin bombs, detonators, cardex wire, electric wire, Naxalite literature, Naxalite pamphlets and pithu bags have been recovered from them. Similarly, on February 25, the Naxalite Korsa Sannu from Padeda Regadgattapara and Sukhram Karam Niwas Belum Nendra, Basaguda between Aavapalli and Murdanda have been successful in arresting.

Accused arrested for raping minor
Narayanpur. The case of raping a minor girl came to light in Farasgaon police station area located in Orchha Road of Narayanpur district. On February 23, the victim’s relatives lodged a complaint of rape with their daughter at the Farasgaon police station. Taking immediate action on this, the Farasgaon police arrested the accused youth within 24 hours and registered a case of rape against the accused youth and presented the youth to the court.
It is being told that the girl from the village of Farasgaon police station area had gone to Gotabenur for the wedding. Where Mangal Vadde forcibly took her towards the forest and raped her. Due to the threat received from Mangal, the victim did not tell anyone about this incident, but when she got pregnant, the girl informed the family members about the incident.
After this, the relatives of the victim lodged a rape report at Farasgaon police station. Police station in-charge Manoj Singh said that after investigating the matter, the accused Mangal Vadde was arrested from Gotabenur under section 363 376 IPC 4, 6 POSCO Act and was presented in the court.
