Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Launch Update: Czech automaker Skoda is all set to launch the facelifted Kodiaq in the Indian market on January 10. This new model will see a lot of changes compared to the BS4-compliant version. Let us tell you, Skoda’s three-row SUV will be offered only in the petrol version with the facelifted model. According to the information revealed, this car will be available on sale in three variants. This will include minor styling changes, a new list of features and a new engine.
What’s special about the design?
The Skoda Kodiaq SUV’s exterior features include Crystalline LED headlamps (with integrated LED DRLs), signature Skoda hexagonal grille (with chrome surround and ribs), sporty front bumper (with integrated lip spoiler), retractable headlight washers and roof. A pair of rails (silver-finished) are included. Apart from this, dual-tone alloy wheels, LED taillights (with dynamic LED turn indicators), and a bold ‘Skoda’ badging will be given on the tailgate.

Sportline variant will be available for the first time
The updated Kodiaq Style will be available in Sportline and Laurin & Clement (L&K) trim levels, according to a filing with the Delhi Transport Department. Indians are no strangers to the Kodiaq’s styling and L&K trims, as they were offered on the pre-facelift model as well. On the other hand, if we talk about the Sportline variant of this car, then for the first time Kodiaq will get it in the Indian market.

While the Sportline variant can be seen in the Superb, the Sportline trim gives the vehicle a sportier look with darker trim elements along with darker colored upholstery on the inside. Talking about the price, the starting price of 2022 Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be around Rs 35 lakh. When launched, this car will compete with Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, Citroen C5 Aircross and Jeep Compass.
