A SpiceJet flight on Monday collided with an electric pole at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport before taking off with passengers. The incident happened during the pushback of the aircraft.
Airport officials said the plane was diverted after the incident and the passengers were shifted to another flight. He said that the investigation into the incident has been started. Thankfully no one was hurt during this incident.
According to the airline, flight number SG 160 was to depart from Delhi for Jammu. He said, “Today, SpiceJet flight number SG 160 was scheduled to operate between Delhi and Jammu. During the push back, the right wing came into close contact with a power pole, causing damage to the ailerons. A replacement flight has been arranged to operate the flight.”
