It is said that if a man has the will power, then no lack of him can stop him. Anvi Jhanjharukia of Surat has proved something similar. Anvi, who made her mark in Yogasan with her hard work, was liked for the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award-2022. The award will be given through video conferencing by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Surat Collector’s office on 24th.
It is noteworthy that 13-year-old Anvi was also given the Hastak National Award by President Ram Nath Kovind on December 3, 2021, for her excellence in yoga. Anvi is a slow learning student in primary school. Since birth, Anvi is suffering from various physical and mental ailments. Apart from this, Anvi’s open heart surgery has also been done. Anvi is 75 percent intellectually disabled and has to face difficulties in speaking. Despite many such problems, he has also won many medals in many championships of state and national classes.
For the last three years, he has won three gold medals and two bronze medals in national level yoga events. So far, Anvi has participated in a total of 42 yoga events. In which he has won 51 different medals. Anvi is a role model for many differently abled people like her. By winning medal twice in the national class, Anvi has raised the name of both Surat and Gujarat on the national board.
