Four companies from the country have made their place in the world’s 100 biggest brands. However, the surprising thing is that not a single company is of Adani and Reliance in this.
The names of four Indian companies are TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys and LIC. These companies have been included in the top 100 global biggest brands along with companies such as Apple, Google, Amazon and Microsoft. TCS ranks number one in this list according to India and 46th in terms of world. This is followed by HDFC at number 61, Infosys at number 64 and LIC at number 92.
TCS has a brand value of $50 billion, HDFC $35 billion, Infosys $33 billion and LIC $23 billion. TCS has emerged as the second largest brand in the Asia Pacific region. Above this is Samsung. Samsung has a brand value of $54 billion. In the same sequence, HDFC Bank and Infosys ranked third and fourth in the list, while LIC stood at the eighth position.
HDFC Bank is the world’s fourth largest bank in terms of brand value, while TCS and Infosys are among the top 20 business solutions and technology providers in the world. Apple is the most valuable brand in the world. Whose brand value is $947 billion. It is followed by other tech giants Google, Amazon and Microsoft in the same order. Facebook, which recently changed its company name to Meta, is at the eighth position.
Kantar Brandz includes brands like IBM, Coca-Cola, Adobe, Starbucks, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat in 2022 ‘Most Valuable Global Brands’. Both these groups are one of the largest groups in India and their owners are included in the top numbers of the rich list.
