At the same time, the people coming from the revenue department for the work related to the department seem to have to suffer the most due to the absence of the officer in the headquarters. Many officers of this department are absent from their office due to being in fair duty. Due to this, people who came with their problems are coming back bereft. People are only compelled to wait for the end of the fair so that as soon as the fair is over, the officials can meet them in the office and their government work can be done.
At the same time, people related to pending cases are also worried about this. The date of production of the cases is coming, but due to the absence of the officer, the date is increasing. Apart from the revenue department, the same situation is being seen in other departments as well. The officer’s chair is vacant, he is missing from the office. People are compelled to make rounds of government offices.
Coming back after 28: Tehsildar of Tehsil office located at district headquarters is also busy till February 28 due to fair duty. In such a situation, the people coming to the office are being sent back by the office staff saying that they will come after February 28. The same situation is being seen in other departments as well. Due to the absence of revenue officers, many works including nomination, distribution, demarcation are affected.
Nodal officers have been appointed for fair operation
It is to be known that Rajim Maghi Punani Mela has been organized from 16 February to 1 March. State government ministers and VIPs are visiting here every day. In such a situation, the entire district administration is busy in the system. Officers are unable to devote time to the headquarters due to fair duty. It may be noted that nodal officers have been appointed for the smooth operation and implementation of the Rajim Mela programme. For editing and coordination with all departments, District Panchayat Gariaband CEO Roktima Yadav is the nodal officer and Additional Collector JR Chaurasia and Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Gariaband Vishwadeep as Assistant Nodal Officer and Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Rajim Avinash Bhoi as co-assistant nodal. officer has been appointed. Apart from the above officers, ASP Chandresh Thakur has also been included in the implementation committee. Apart from this, officers of many other departments including Public Works, Water Resources, Municipality, Forest Department are also engaged in duty. Due to which government work is affected.
