Seoni Malwa. Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel arrived on Wednesday evening to inaugurate the newly constructed building of the Agriculture Department’s Kisan Gyan Kendra near the Tehsil office. On this occasion, first of all, after the worship of Maa Saraswati by the Agriculture Minister, Kanya Puja was performed. After this the newly constructed building of Agriculture Department was inaugurated. Seeing the inscription of the launch, the Agriculture Minister got angry on the officials of the Agriculture Department and expressed displeasure, he directed that the name of MP Uday Pratap Singh is not written in this inscription to be changed immediately. At the same time, the Agriculture Minister said in his remarks that the government has made arrangements to provide compensation to farmers under the crop insurance scheme and revenue book circular in case of crop loss due to natural calamity. Agriculture Minister also planted saplings in village Baranga. He also distributed ownership certificates to the villagers under the ownership scheme. Agriculture Minister Patel said on the occasion that under the Swamitva scheme in Harda district, the first survey was conducted in the state and the ownership rights of the housing land in the rural areas were given to the villagers.
Minister’s advice to farmers, there will be more benefit if you do natural farming
Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, who reached the program organized by the Department of Agriculture, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a pledge to save the fertility of the country’s agriculture and doubling the income of the farmers and is working continuously to fulfill it. He said that the seminar on natural farming has done the work of making the farmers of the country aware. Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel expressed concern over the continuous use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides for higher production. He said that while the fertility of the land is being destroyed due to the use of chemical fertilizers, the crop is also harmful to human health. He suggested that farmers should now adopt natural farming keeping in mind the cost of cultivation, maintaining soil fertility and human health. He claimed that many farmers of the country have earned much more profit by adopting natural farming method as compared to chemical fertilizers and pesticides. He is motivating for natural farming by completely stopping chemical fertilizers from Madhya Pradesh.
