Patna. Holi will not be celebrated this year at the residence of Lalu Prasad, famous for ‘Kurtaphad’ Holi in Bihar. This year Lalu Prasad’s family will not celebrate Holi. This information was given by Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi during a discussion with journalists on Thursday.
Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, while discussing with the journalists in the assembly premises, described the whole of Bihar as her family and gave a message to everyone to celebrate Holi with peace and brotherhood. He said that everyone should celebrate the festival of colors with peace, harmony and brotherhood. Responding to a question from journalists, he said that this time we are not celebrating Holi.
It is noteworthy that former Union Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav is in jail these days after being found guilty in a fodder scam case. Due to health reasons, he is admitted to RIMS, Ranchi. It is believed that the family members have taken this decision due to the absence of Lalu Prasad.
Tejashwi Yadav, son of Lalu Prasad and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, has already gone to Delhi with his wife on Wednesday before Holi.
It is noteworthy that Holi used to be different in Lalu Prasad’s house. The kurta phad holi of Lalu Awas is famous. On the occasion of Holi, from RJD worker to leader, Lalu Prasad used to reach his residence and used to get drenched in colours. A cultural program was also organized on this day at Lalu Prasad’s residence.
Talking to the media, Rabri Devi has also surrounded the government on the issue of unemployment. He said that five kilograms of food grains and five kilograms of wheat is not going to fill the stomach. He said that unemployment is at its peak today. He said that the age of youth is passing out in search of employment.
