Airline operations stable
Kannan said that the beginning of the new financial year has been challenging. The airline faced significant operational disruption from March 31 to April 2. Admitting that things should have been planned better. Kannan said that a lot was learned from this.
He said in a message to employees that the concern and frustration felt by our customers is equal to the pain we felt hearing the negative comments being made about our much-loved brand in various quarters. I assure you that the worst is now behind us and our operations have stabilized with our On-Time Performance (OTP) increasing to 89 per cent as on April 9, 2024. The airline has a fleet of 70 aircraft. It is scheduled to operate more than 300 flights every day in the current summer schedule.
A large number of pilots went on leave
