Maruti Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza tops the compact SUV sales chart in 2021. The popular compact SUV has clocked a whopping 39 per cent growth in sales with 1,15,962 units sold in the country in the year 2020 as against 83,666-unit sales. The Vitara Brezza sub-compact SUV, priced between Rs 7.61 lakh to Rs 11.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine (105PS/138Nm) that gets 5-litre as standard. The speed is paired with manual and optional 4-speed AT. The maruti Vitara Brezza is capable of giving a mileage of around 19 kmpl in one liter of petrol.
Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon has seen a massive 122 percent growth in sales in the year 2021. The Indian automaker sold 1,08,577 units of the Nexon compact SUV in 2021 as compared to 48,841-unit sales in 2020. The price of this sub-4m SUV from Tata ranges from Rs 7.29 lakh to Rs 13.34 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
The Tata Nexon is sold in India with two engine options 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol (120PS/170Nm) and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel (110PS/260Nm), to say, both the engines as standard 6-speed MT and optional 6-speed MT. Speed is paired with AMT. Talking about mileage, Nexon is capable of giving a mileage of 21.5 kmpl.

Hyundai Venue
Hyundai’s affordable subcompact SUV Venue missed out on the second spot by just 570 units. The company sold 1,08,007 units of the Venue compact SUV in 2021 as compared to 82,428-unit sales in 2020. Due to which there was an increase of 31 percent in its sales. Hyundai Venue is sold for Rs 6.99 Lakh to Rs 11.87 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Venue is offered with three engine options: 1.2-litre petrol (with 5-speed manual), 1.5-litre diesel (with 6-speed MT) and 1-litre turbo-petrol (6-speed manual, with optional 7-speed DCT). ) is sold.
