New Delhi. IPL, which started in the year 2008, has proved to be a ‘full dose’ of entertainment for cricket fans around the world. In this T20 league of India, the fans have not only got a ‘feast’ of exciting matches, the glamor quotient with the presence of many celebrities and Bollywood personalities has also made it special. With every new year the excitement of this tournament is increasing among the spectators.
So far in IPL, there has been such an occasion when a batsman was out on 0 twice in a match. Many cricket fans will wonder how a batsman can be out on 0 twice in a T20 match, then the answer is that this match was decided in a super over. During his team’s ‘regular’ innings, Nicholas Pooran of Kings XI Punjab was out without opening his account. Later, the same fate befell it during the super over.

Before the IPL, Shoaib Malik in the 2013 Advance Telecom Ramzan T20 Cup match of Pakistan and Moises Henriques in the 2014 Big Bash T20 League match of Australia have made a unique record of being out on 0 twice. In both these tied matches, these batsmen were out without opening their account even in the super over. Despite Imran Farhat scoring 65 runs while batting first, Habib Bank team was out after scoring 158 runs on the last ball of the 20th over. In reply, PIA team was also able to score only 158 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and the match was tied. During this, PIA’s leading batsman Shoaib Malik had made a ‘golden duck’ (out on the very first ball). In the Super Over, PIA batted first and scored 7 runs, during which Malik was out again on a ‘golden duck’. Habib Bank had achieved the target on the third ball itself.
