Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and Global Terrorist Syed Salauddin has once again been spotted in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Syed Salauddin was seen in Muzaffarabad when he reached here on 20 April 2024 to attend a gathering. Even before this, this most wanted terrorist of India was seen in Pakistan only. In February last year, Syed Salauddin was spotted in Pakistan when he attended a funeral in Lahore amid security from the Pakistan government. This funeral was of Hizbul terrorist Bashir Ahmed Peer.
Salauddin is in NIA’s most wanted list
Let us tell you that Syed Salauddin is also the head of United Jihad Council. United Jihad Council is one of the jihadi terrorist groups sponsored by ISI. The aim of this terrorist organization is to merge Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan. Salauddin is included in the most wanted list of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the US State Department has also included him in the list of global terrorist.

Who is Syed Salauddin
Syed Salauddin was known as Yusuf Shah in Kashmir before 1990 and had also contested the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir in 1987 on the Muslim United Front ticket. On 5 November 1990, Yusuf Shah became Syed Salauddin. Crossing the border, he reached Muzaffarabad in PoK and then formed an organization named Hizbul Mujahideen and started carrying out terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Was involved in terrorist attacks
Syed Salauddin has been involved in many terrorist attacks in India. His organization United Jihad Council was behind the attack on Pathankot airbase. Jaish-e-Mohammed is also a part of Syed Salauddin’s organization. There was a time when most of the terrorists of Kashmir were associated with Hizbul Mujahideen. This organization has been the biggest contributor behind the violence in Kashmir.
