You can consume it by making its powder, but you should have correct information about how much of it to consume. If you consume it in excess, it may have adverse effects on your body.
When Local 18 team talked to Dr. Shivkumar Acharya, an expert in substance properties, medicinal plants and professor of Ayurvedic College, he told that Giloy is a herb which is beneficial for diabetes and arthritis. Its use also provides relief from anemia. However, you should consume it properly. The right time to consume it is in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening on an empty stomach. If you consume Giloy more than twice, it can harm you. Due to which your stomach will start burning.
Powder to be taken in this quantity
If you are also consuming Giloy, then you have to take two small spoons of Giloy powder and four small cups of water. Mix it and heat it and when one cup of water is left, then consume it. If you take Giloyi powder in excess quantity then it may cause harm to you.
The powder should not be too old.
If you consume Giloy powder by making a decoction, then you have to take special care of one thing that the powder of Giloy herb should not be too old. You can consume one month old powder. The powder should not be older than this.
