Petrol Diesel Prices: Crude oil prices are continuously rising in the global market and soon crude seems to once again cross $90 per barrel. Meanwhile, there is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel released by the government oil companies on Monday morning. Today, a tremendous reduction in oil prices is visible in Bihar. Oil prices have changed in many other states including UP. However, there is no change in oil prices in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, today petrol in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida-Greater Noida) became costlier by 13 paise to Rs 94.87 per litre. Here diesel also increased by 14 paise and is being sold at Rs 88.00 per litre. In Ghaziabad too, petrol has become costlier by 9 paise to Rs 94.65 a liter and diesel by 11 paise to Rs 87.75 a litre. Apart from this, in Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol has become cheaper by 88 paise and is being sold at Rs 105.18 per litre, while diesel has fallen by 83 paise and is being sold at Rs 92.04 per litre.

Increase in crude oil prices
Here, there is a rise in the prices of crude oil in the global market even today. The price of Brent crude has increased to $ 86.60 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also increased today to reach $82.92 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in all four metros
– Petrol in Delhi Rs 94.72 and diesel Rs 87.62 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai Rs 104.21 and diesel Rs 92.15 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai Rs 100.75 and diesel Rs 92.34 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata Rs 103.94 and diesel Rs 90.76 per liter
New prices released in these cities
– Petrol in Noida has become Rs 94.87 and diesel Rs 88.00 per liter.
– In Ghaziabad, petrol has become Rs 94.65 and diesel Rs 87.75 per liter.
– In Patna, petrol has become Rs 105.18 and diesel Rs 92.04 per litre.
New rates are released every morning at 6 o’clock
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. New rates come into effect from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
