The central government seems to be getting strict about the traffic rules in the country. Recently, the Central Government had increased the traffic challan fee by amending the rules in the Motor Vehicle Act. Now the central government is going to come up with a new rule to control the speed on the highway in the country, under which an FIR will be registered against those who break the rules.

According to the reports published in News18, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said during an event in Dasna, Ghaziabar, Uttar Pradesh, “Soon a new rule to curb speeding vehicles on highways and expressways. Will be built. Under this, recording of vehicles will be done and whoever violates the rules, an FIR will be registered after taking action. The recording will be used as evidence.”
Let us tell you that Nitin Gadkari said this while inaugurating the Integrated Transportation System Control Room building in Dasna. The central government seems to be very conscious about the road construction across the country. Gadkari announced that a new expressway would be built from Ghaziabad to Lucknow. It will be worshiped in the next 10 days.
Car companies got 6 months time:
Apart from this, the government has also issued instructions to automakers to manufacture flexi fuel engines, so that green mobility can be promoted. Nitin Gadkari has also said in a statement that, the government has issued an advisory to automakers to install engines with ‘flex fuel engine’ in vehicles.

Gadkari also said, “I have signed a file advising automakers to make flex-fuel engines. We have given the next 6 months to the car companies, during which they will start manufacturing and using this particular engine. The government wants that people’s dependence on conventional fuel (petrol-diesel) should be reduced.
