Lucknow. Taking the name of Veer Savarkar, who was sentenced to black water for a long time for the freedom of the country, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has indicated to implement Uniform Civil Code. He said on Friday at the launch of a book titled ‘Veer Savarkar Who Could Have Stopped the Partition of India and His National Security Vision’ at the Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow, instead of looking at every citizen from the point of view of minority and majority, as a citizen. But must be seen. He said that we have recently implemented that there will be neither worship nor namaz on the road. People have felt relief due to the removal of loudspeakers from religious places. Let us inform that recently the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh has constituted a committee of experts under the chairmanship of former Supreme Court judge Ranjana Desai to enact a Uniform Civil Code Act.
Yogi said that he congratulates the people and religious leaders of the state for removing loudspeakers peacefully. He said that Savarkar’s idea is more meaningful today. People used to say that Article 370 cannot be abolished regarding Kashmir, that has happened. Yogi said that Savarkar’s life has gone by giving divine vision to the country. Ram temple should have been built in Ayodhya only after independence, but it is being built today. He launched a scathing attack on the Congress on this occasion. Yogi said that Congress has humiliated all the national heroes including Savarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose and Ambedkar. Savarkar had the idea of nationalism, Congress did not accept it. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government put up a memorial in the name of Savarkar in the Cellular Jail in Port Blair, it was removed and humiliated by the Congress government.
Let us tell you that two days ago, Yogi had given his opinion on nationalism in the UP Assembly, reacting to the statement of SP President Akhilesh Yadav. He had said that it is better to be a nationalist than to be a rat. Yogi had said that in the house where the mouse lives and eats, it hollows out the foundation of that house.
