This incident of getting the poster is on Wednesday. In many places, posters were found to keep the market closed in Unnao. After this, DM Ravindra Kumar held a meeting with the top police officers. After this he also held a meeting with representatives of all religions. In the meeting, the DM urged everyone to help in maintaining peace and law and order. The DM also instructed all the officers to take precautions. Later, the DM told the media that the religious leaders denied their involvement in the poster-making. Police are now looking for those who put up the posters. Preparations are on to arrest them.
Taking a strict tone, DM Ravindra Kumar has warned that strict action will be taken against those who disturb peace and order. He has currently considered it as a mischief of someone and has given instructions to the police to arrest that person. At the same time, after meeting the DM, a Muslim religious leader of the city then issued an appeal to the people to maintain peace. He also told in his appeal that no Muslim organization has given any call for market bandh.
