UP Election: CM Yogi’s counterattack on Dimple Yadav
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hit back at Dimple Yadav, wife of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and former MP. Yogi said in a tweet, ‘Yes I am saffron-clad.’ Along with this tweet, the Chief Minister has also shared a video of his speech.
In this, referring to the statement of Dimple Yadav, without naming anyone, he said, ‘One thing has struck me a lot. You must have heard the statements of some people of SP. That statement is also an insult to the universe. It is also an insult to Sanatan Dharma and Sant Samaj. He has associated saffron with war, but yes, I can say that I am saffron. Every Uttar Pradesh resident will say, we are saffron. This is because saffron is the color of the energy of the universe. When the sun rises, the color of Lord Surya is also saffron.
What did Dimple say?
Dimple had described saffron as rusty iron. Said, ‘This is a double engine government. When an engine gets rusted, what is the color of the rust? I think the color of the clothes our current Chief Minister wears is the same colour, so the time has come to remove such rusty engines.
