New Delhi. It is not easy for any player to recover from injury and return to the field after an accident. But praise has to be given to the wicketkeeper batsman of the Indian team, who showed amazing courage after a terrible road accident, recovered from the injury and returned to the field after 454 days. When left-handed batsman Rishabh Pant was coming out to bat, it was an emotional moment for everyone. After a long time, the people who reached the stadium to see their ‘hero’ paid their respect through standing ovation. Delhi Capitals captain Pant made a comeback to cricket in the second match of IPL 2024 against Punjab Kings.
Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a road accident in December 2022. After this he had to undergo several surgeries. After this terrible accident, Pant did not lose courage to become fit. Everyone is surprised to see his courage who recovered very quickly. Pant is currently leading the Delhi Capitals team in the IPL. In his comeback match, Pant was out after scoring 18 runs in 13 balls with the help of two fours. However, from the rhythm in which he was seen while batting, it did not seem even for a moment that this dreaded player is making a comeback after about 15 months.

could not take advantage of life donation
Rishabh Pant was dismissed by fast bowler Harshal Patel in the return match. Harshal got Pant caught by Jonny Bairstow. Before Pant was out, Harshal Patel gave him a life but he could not take advantage of it. His catch was dropped by Patel at deep square leg. However, after 8 balls, Harshal returned and sent him to the pavilion. Pant gave an easy catch to Bairstow at backward point on Harshal’s ball. Harshal trapped Pant with a slower ball and the wicketkeeper failed to send the ball outside the 30 yard circle.
Head coach Ricky Ponting received praises

Looking at the way he is sweating in the nets, it can be said that he will soon be seen playing in his old rhythm. According to Ponting, the way Pant has returned to cricket with confidence in himself shows his passion.
