The CBI investigation is now going on in the allegations of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik offering bribe. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has recommended a CBI inquiry for a fair probe into the matter. On this, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha said, we have written a letter to the CBI in this matter. We want the truth to come out. It is very important to be clear about the allegations leveled by a person holding a high position.
Satyapal Malik had alleged that when he was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, a bribe of Rs 300 crore was offered to advance the files of several big industrial houses. Malik had said that he had refused to take the money and had canceled all deals. He had said that Ambani and a senior RSS official were also involved in this file.
Satya Pal Malik had claimed that information was received from the secretaries of the departments which had these files that there was something wrong in it and if the file is passed then Rs 150-150 crore can be received. He had said that he had gone to meet PM Modi in this matter. The Prime Minister had also said that there should be no compromise in any matter of corruption.
Let us tell you that Satya Pal Malik is presently the Governor of Meghalaya. He made the above claim in a program in Jhunjhunu. He had also said that the person whose files were being offered bribe to pass, he has also been close to PM Modi.
