Yellow alert of heatwave has also been issued for 52 districts of UP. The Meteorological Department has predicted heatwave in Purvanchal part of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heatwave in the Ganga coastal and Himalayan areas of West Bengal. Heat wave may also occur in some areas of Chhattisgarh. There has been some rain in Delhi. There is no possibility of heatwave here and in NCR for the next few days. There may be rain in some parts of Punjab and Haryana.
There is a possibility of rain at some places in Arunachal Pradesh of Northeast India. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in some other states of the North-East also. According to the Meteorological Department, heat is increasing in most parts of Madhya Pradesh. Here too people may have to face heatwave and heat wave. The temperature in many areas has crossed 40 degrees or more. According to the Meteorological Department, this time there is a possibility of heatwave in many states for 3 weeks.
