New Delhi. Before Holi, the weather is going to change once again in many states. The latest forecast of the Meteorological Department suggests that changes can be seen in Eastern and Central India. There are chances of lightning, hailstorm and rain in eastern and central India from today. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha till Thursday. There are also chances of storm in all three states.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that light to moderate rain may occur at many places in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Apart from hailstorm, storm may also occur at many places in these states today. Even in Marathwada of Maharashtra, light rain along with thunder and lightning can be seen at many places. Talking about the hilly states, the weather has been predicted to remain dry in the plains of Uttarakhand. At the same time, snowfall can be seen on the mountains in the higher reaches of the state. Moderate rain with thunderstorms is expected for two days in Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh of South India.
The Meteorological Department estimates that heat will increase in the areas of Delhi and NCR. Here the sky is said to be clear and there will be strong sunshine. The maximum temperature in Delhi and NCR areas can go up to 33 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature may also increase. The weather is likely to remain dry in many other states of North India also. It is believed that the mercury will continue to rise in the plains in the next few days. The Meteorological Department has already said that this year India may see severe heat.
