Jaipur . Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi held a public meeting at Beneshwar Dham in the tribal-dominated Banswara district of Rajasthan. During this, the party leaders lost their sweat when they saw some people wearing black clothes in the public meeting.
Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting was organized on Monday.
Those who came to the public meeting wearing black T-shirts, shirts and scarves were asked to change. The fear of protests by the leaders was such that the colors of people’s handkerchiefs were also checked. Women who came wearing black dupatta or scarves were asked to take them off.
Rahul Gandhi visited Baneshwar Dham on Monday, a day after the three-day ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir’ organized by the Congress in Udaipur ended on Sunday.
Here Rahul Gandhi laid the foundation stone of a bridge to be built at a cost of Rs 132 crore. After this, Rahul went to three temples one after the other and offered prayers.
From politicians to police-administration, everyone was very cautious about the black color during Rahul Gandhi’s visit.
Earlier, during the BJP rule under former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, black flags were shown at one of his meetings. After which people were banned from coming to their rallies wearing black clothes. The Congress had targeted the BJP fiercely for this.
