Today the talk of Munich attack mastermind Ali Hassan Salameh, whom Mossad had disposed of in such a way that the world was shocked. Ali Hassan Salameh was known as the Red Prince. The operation to kill Ali Hasan was started after a long wait of five years. Ali Hassan was the son of a top Arab commander who was killed in the 1948 war with Israel.
On 5 September 1972, the Olympic Games were going on in Munich, Germany. In which Black September and the terrorists of the Palestinian terrorist organization took 11 Israeli players hostage. In the midst of the turmoil of this hostage crisis, two players had unsuccessfully tried to escape, who were killed by the terrorists in the beginning. Ali Hassan had been underground for many years after the attack, then it was revealed that he was in Beirut, Lebanon.
Due to this, an agent was sent to Beirut in 1974 by Mossad in search of him. This agent was given the code name of “Agent D”. Who was specifically instructed that he would only supervise Ali Hasan. Because it could be difficult for the agent to meet him or come into sight. Mossad knew he would not repeat the mistake made by Eli Cohen.
During this time, Ali Hasan used to come to workout in the gym of the same hotel in which Agent D was staying. After monitoring for six months, the agent also started going to the gym, where he unknowingly met Ali Hassan. Gradually the two became friends and started spending time with each other, but the team of Mossad was nervous. Now this matter dragged on for four years, then in the year 1978, the plan for the death of Ali Hasan was started.
In this sequence, Mossad sent one of his female and one male agent to Beirut for work, who was to carry out the crime. Agent D brought the explosives from Jordan to Lebanon with his life in hand. This work took a year, then Mossad’s female agent and another Mossad agent drove a car laden with explosives in the parking lot of Ali Hasan’s office.
The date was January 22 and the year 1979. As soon as Ali Hassan Salameh reached the office in his car. A female Mossad agent blasted the remote. Ali Hassan’s four bodyguards were killed in the horrific explosion and Ali Hassan was seriously injured, who was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Mossad agents fled from Beirut to Israel soon after the blast.
