People belonging to a particular community were attacked with a knife by the youths who were coming out after watching the film ‘Kashmir File’ from a cinema hall in Fazilnagar town of Kushinagar, UP. Three youths have been seriously injured in this incident. It is being told that while leaving the cinema hall, the youths raised some slogans after which they were attacked.
The film Kashmir Files is playing in a cinema hall located in Fazilnagar Panchayat area. In the last show on Friday, some youths resident of Jokwa Bazar of development block had come to see that film. While watching the film, youths were shouting patriotic slogans, which the youth of a particular community felt exasperated. After exiting the show, a scuffle started between the youths on both sides. Meanwhile, the youths of one side attacked the youths of the other side.
In this incident, Sahul’s son Ashok Jaiswal, Krishna’s son Ashok Jaiswal and Sachin’s son Chhote Lal Gond were seriously injured. After the incident, all three were taken to CHC Fazilnagar from where the first aid doctors referred all three to the medical college.
Raids in search of accused
In this regard, SHO of Patherwa, Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that after getting information about the incident, efforts are being made to arrest the accused youths. The family members are treating the injured youths and a case will also be registered on receiving the complaint from them. Strictest action will be taken against the culprits in the matter.
