The year 2022 Jyeshtha or Jeth month has started from Tuesday, May 17, which will end on June 14. This month has a lot of importance in Hinduism. Because, by worshiping Lord Hanuman this month, special fruits are obtained. Every Tuesday that falls in the month of Jyeshtha is known as Bada Mangal or Budhwa Mangal.
Lord Hanuman, the supreme devotee of Shri Ram, is worshiped in this festival. According to the beliefs, on this day Lord Hanuman met his Lord Shri Ram while roaming in the forest for the first time. On the other hand, according to another story, when Bhima became proud of his strength during the Mahabharata period, then Lord Hanuman defeated Bhima by taking the form of an old monkey, which broke Bhima’s pride.
