These are the essential ingredients to make Green Tomato Chutney
Green tomatoes – 8-9
Oil – as required
Sugar – 1 tsp
salt – as per taste
Cumin – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Fennel – half teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
Sesame – 1 tsp
Red chili – 2
Jaggery – 3-4 tsp
Tamarind Pulp – 1 cup
Black pepper powder – half teaspoon
Ginger – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 2 to 3 tsp
How to make Green Tomato Chutney
- To make Green Tomato Chutney, first wash and cut the tomatoes thoroughly.
- Now put oil, mustard seeds, cumin, sesame, red chili powder, jaggery in the pan.
- Now add tomatoes to this prepared spice and cook it well.
- Now put tomato and tamarind pulp in a mixer and grind it finely.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add cumin, peanut, sesame, fennel, fenugreek seeds and add tempering to the chutney.
- Your green tomato chutney is ready, now eat it with fun with paratha.
