Ingredients for making Cashew Pistachio Roll-
750 grams cashew nuts
300 grams pistachios
800 grams sugar cubes
5 grams cardamom powder
Silver Leaf for Garnishing
How to make Cashew Pistachio Roll:
This recipe is very easy. To make Cashew Pistachio Roll, first soak the cashews and keep them aside and remove the peel from the pistachios. Now grind both of them separately and make a paste of it. After this, add 650 grams of sugar cashew and 150 grams of sugar to the pistachio mixture. Now cook both the mixtures separately, till the sugar dissolves. Now add cardamom powder to it. Take it out from the pan, make a sheet of cashew and pistachio and serve it by rolling it in the middle and garnishing it with silver leaf.
Cooking Tips
Do not make it too wet to make cashew pistachio roll.
If you want, instead of cardamom powder, you can also add rose flavor to it.
You can also use jaggery instead of sugar.
