Valley of Flowers Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand is very famous for its beautiful flower beds. This valley falls in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Which is going to open on June 1 this year for trekking. This valley of flowers is near Nanda Devi. Here you will see very beautiful views. This beautiful place is famous for its charming meadows of alpine flowers, richness of animals and fauna and amazing views of snow-capped peaks. The track passes through some dense forests, and takes you to the banks of the Pushpavati River. Many beautiful bridges, glaciers and waterfalls are also seen on the way. This year the track will be closed on 31st October.
More than 300 varieties of flowers
Here you will get to see more than 300 varieties of flowers. These include anemones, geraniums, primulus, blue poppy and bluebells. But the most famous flower to see here is the Brahma Kamal, which is also the state flower of Uttarakhand.

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest to Govindghat from Joshimath to reach Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand. Which is 285 km away. Govindghat is the last motorable road and is the place from where the trek to both Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers begins. There are two options to reach Govindghat one is public transport and second is direct cab to Govindghat.
To reach the Valley of Flowers, the nearest railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station and the nearest airport is Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport.
