Ingredients for making Paneer Makhani Biryani-
-250 grams paneer pieces (chopped into squares)
-3 tbsp ghee
-2 tbsp whole spices
-1 large onion, finely chopped
-3 tsp butter
-2 cups tomato puree
-2-3 green chilies
-3-4 garlic
-1 tsp Ginger , peeled
-1 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp cumin-coriander powder
-1 tsp tandoori masala
-1/2 tsp cardamom powder
-1 tsp sugar
-1/4 cup cashew paste
-1/2 cup cream
-Salt
-6 cups Basmati rice , boiled
-1 cup Onion, Roasted
-1/2 cup almonds
-1/2 cup mint and coriander leaves
Method to make Paneer Makhani Biryani-
To make Paneer Makhani Biryani, first put the pieces of paneer in ghee and sprinkle some spices on it and keep it aside. Then in the same pan add whole spices like cinnamon, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, black pepper and mace.
After this, add onion, green chili, ginger and garlic and fry for two minutes. Also add tomato puree to it and cook on low flame for ten minutes. Once cooked, add cashew paste and cream to it.
Also mix cheese. Leave it on low flame for six to eight minutes. Lastly, keep the paneer and rice together in an oiled plate. Then put roasted onions, nuts, mint and coriander leaves on it and keep it covered with foil paper on low flame for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
