Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said in Parliament that terrorists active in Jammu and Kashmir will either go to jail or hell. The Modi government’s policy is to not tolerate terrorism at all. Responding to a question asked by Congress MP Pramod Tiwari, the Union Minister of State for Home said that no compromise will be made with the security of the country in the Modi government. Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir will not be allowed to succeed in their plans. Our army soldiers will soon eliminate terrorism from the valley.

Nityanand Rai said that since the removal of Article 370 in August 2019, the security forces have taken major action and killed more than 900 terrorists. Referring to the recent terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that in the last few days, the army has killed 28 terrorists in Kashmir, although some of our soldiers have also been martyred. Compared to earlier, the environment in Jammu and Kashmir today is very favorable. Schools, colleges are opening, people’s business is growing, people are living in a peaceful environment.

He said that the government is also making efforts for the return of Kashmiri Pandits to their homes in Jammu and Kashmir. Efforts are also being made to promote tourism. Before 2014, tourists were afraid to go to Kashmir. Last year in 2023, a total of 2 crore 11 lakh tourists visited Kashmir. From this, the security situation there can be gauged. The administration of Jammu and Kashmir is taking full care of the tourists coming to the state and instructions have also been issued in this regard by the Union Home Ministry.
