In his address, PM Modi said that I see this as an important milestone in the glorious journey of Indian democracy. It is a matter of immense pride for me and all my colleagues that after nearly 60 years a government has come back for the third time and presented the first budget of the third term.

Democracy was strangled- PM Modi

In his address, PM Modi was also seen getting angry at the opposition. PM Modi said that democracy was strangled by the opposition in the last session. The voice of the Prime Minister of the country was suppressed for two and a half hours. PM Modi said that Parliament is for the country and not for any party.

Budget is also mentioned

PM Modi also mentioned the budget to be presented on 23 July. PM Modi said that the budget we will present tomorrow is an important budget of Amritkaal. We have got an opportunity of five years, this budget will decide the direction of those five years. This budget will strengthen the dream of a developed India by 2047. It is a matter of great pride for every citizen of the country that India is the fastest growing country among the countries with a big economy. In the last 3 years, we are moving ahead with a continuous growth of 8 percent.
