Pakistan Cricket Board took action, shock to Babar, Shaheen and Rizwan

Lahore. After the disappointing performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the ICC T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board has taken several tough steps. Many former cricketers working with the team have been shown the way out, while captain Babar Azam is also in danger of losing the captaincy. Now the PCB has given a big blow to the senior players by not allowing them to play in foreign leagues.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has not allowed team captain Babar Azam, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan to play in the Global T20 League. The request for No Objection Certificate (NOC) given by these three has been rejected by the PCB. The board said in a statement, “PCB had received a request for NOC from Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi to play in the Global T20 League.”

Babar Azam got many opportunities… The veteran got angry at the Pakistani captain, said- we too have never…

It said, “In view of Pakistan’s busy cricket calendar from August 2024 to March 2025 and after consultation with the three players and the national selection committee, it has been decided to reject their request. During this period, Pakistan has to play nine matches of the ICC World Test Championship and the ICC Champions Trophy next year.

The Global T20 League will be held in Canada from July 25 to August 11. The statement said, “These three players play in all formats and Pakistan will need them in nine Tests, 14 ODIs and nine T20s in the coming eight months.”
