After the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made many announcements. Another decision was taken in this sequence on Monday. Chief Minister Bhagwan Mann said that the government is going to start door step delivery scheme for door-to-door delivery of ration. CM said that this is an alternative scheme, which will be implemented soon.
With the implementation of this policy, now the poor will not have to stand in the queue and take ration. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the government officials will call the residents of Punjab and ask them for their preferred time slot. After this, according to the convenience of the people, ration will be delivered from door to door.
Earlier this scheme was started by Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi. But the plan got stalled due to differences between the Center and the Delhi government. Now door to door ration distribution scheme is being started in Punjab on the same lines as Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal accuses BJP
On this move Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced the distribution of ration. It will be implemented soon. We are struggling to implement this in Delhi since last 4 years. We planned everything but the BJP government at the Center stopped it.”
‘People from other states will also demand’
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the decision of the Punjab government to implement the policy of providing ration to the people said that after the scheme is implemented in Punjab, people of other states will also demand to implement it in their states.
