Pune. A fresh allegation has been leveled against the controversial trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar and the central government has asked Pune police to investigate it. The allegation is that Pooja Khedkar took the benefit of non-creamy layer under OBC quota in UPSC examination by saying that her parents were separated. Now the central government has asked Pune police to investigate and tell what is the marital status of Pooja Khedkar’s father Dilip Khedkar and mother Manorama Khedkar? Are both of them divorced?
If the police investigation finds the allegation of wrongdoing against Pooja Khedkar to be true, she may have to face a criminal case. Amidst all this, according to News18, there is also news that Pooja Khedkar did not even reach the LBSNAA Academy in Mussoorie on Tuesday, July 23. The academy had cancelled her training and called her back by this date. No one in the academy even knew where Pooja Khedkar was. Pooja had recently told the media in Washim that she would return soon and then tell about the allegations against her. There is no trace of her since then.
On the other hand, Pune Police has already arrested Pooja’s mother Manorama Khedkar in the case of threatening farmers with a pistol. Manorama Khedkar’s 2023 video went viral. In which she was seen going to a place with bouncers and threatening a farmer with a pistol in a land dispute. In this case, Pooja Khedkar’s father Dilip Khedkar has taken anticipatory bail. Pooja Khedkar got embroiled in controversies when she was posted in Pune. There she was accused of occupying her senior’s room, demanding accommodation and vehicle to live in. Pooja was also accused of getting Maharashtra Government written on the Audi car she got from a builder and roaming around with lights on. Whereas, under the rules, she could not do so. At the same time, Pooja Khedkar has accused the Pune Collector of harassment. The police is also investigating this allegation.
