New Delhi. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi took a step after meeting cobbler Ramchait in Sultanpur, UP on Friday. He sent a shoe stitching machine to Ramchait. Congress gave this information through a post on the social media platform X.

Congress wrote in its post, “Rahul Gandhi met cobbler Ramchait ji in Sultanpur (UP) on July 26, understood the nuances of his work. Now a shoe stitching machine has been sent for him, which will make it easier for Ramchait to stitch shoes. Such is your Rahul, the Rahul of the people.”

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi appeared in Sultanpur MP/MLA court on Friday in a defamation case. After leaving the court, while going to the airport, he stopped at a cobbler’s shop. During this time Rahul Gandhi talked to the cobbler and also enquired about his well-being.

While sharing the video from its official social media account, the Congress party wrote, “Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi stopped his car on the way and met a cobbler’s family. We are constantly fighting for the rights of these hardworking people, raising their voice from the streets to the Parliament. Our goal is to make their present safe and their future prosperous.”

Even before this, Rahul Gandhi had suddenly reached Delhi’s GTB Nagar and met the daily wage workers. He had learned from the workers about the difficulties in their lives and the problems related to employment. He had also assured them of solving their problems.
