Rajeev Ranjan Death: JDU national spokesperson and former MLA Rajeev Ranjan passed away, breathed his last in Delhi


New Delhi. JDU national spokesperson and former MLA Rajiv Ranjan died late night in Delhi. He died while being taken to the hospital after suffering from stomach pain. Rajiv Ranjan’s son gave this information. Rajiv Ranjan was elected MLA from Islampur in 2010.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences on the untimely demise of former Islampur MLA and JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister has said that ‘Rajiv Ranjan was a skilled politician and a famous social worker. His death has caused irreparable loss in the political and social field. The Chief Minister has prayed to God for eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to his family to bear this grief.’

Union Minister Lallan Singh expressed condolences. He said, ‘We have received the sad news of the demise of our old colleague Rajiv Ranjan ji, the National General Secretary cum National Spokesperson of the party. His demise is an irreparable loss of a skilled politician and a hardworking colleague. I pray to God for peace of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.’

Rural Development Minister and JDU senior leader Shravan Kumar has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Rajiv Ranjan. He called Rajiv Ranjan’s death a personal loss and a big loss for the party as well.

JDU’s Delhi unit’s organization general secretary Ashok Kumar Singh said, ‘I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the demise of the party’s national general secretary cum national spokesperson, former MLA Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh. It is a great loss for the party and the society. May God give strength to the family and give peace to his soul.’
