Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 after battling leukemia during the first lockdown. The death had a huge impact on the lives of his wife Neetu Kapoor and children Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. In a recent interview with UK-based RJ Anushka Arora, Riddhima opened up about her family and said, ‘We all have started taking care of each other a little more. We have all come closer. After the death of Papa and Chacha, this incident has brought the family very close. The last three years have been very difficult for the family.’

Riddhima Kapoor further said, ‘We talk to each other every other day on phone calls or FaceTime. We try to keep talking to each other.’ Let us tell you that after the death of Rishi Kapoor in 2020, Rajiv Kapoor also passed away in 2021.
