While reviewing the film, he wrote, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2 is a great film. I am at a loss for words. I am overwhelmed. Congratulations to Mani Ratnam, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha and all the cast and crew. Proud of Aishwarya Rai, she has done her best work till date.’
