The Australian cricket team has reached Pakistan after 24 years. On this tour, the Kangaroo team has to play three Tests, three ODIs and one T20 match. On Friday, a day before the second Test match in Karachi, Kangaroo batsman Marnus Labuschagne shared a picture of his lunch on Twitter, which created a ruckus. Actually there was a picture of lentil roti in that post. Labushen told that he is being fed this in Pakistan.
After this post by Marnus Labuschagne, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) started getting badly criticized on social media. Everyone was seen trolling the PCB. Some were commenting citing his poverty, while some criticized him for feeding his guests only lentils and roti. However, so far there has been no statement from the PCB or its chairman Rameez Raja on this.
The Australian batsman has clearly quipped against this behavior of the PCB in his Twitter post. He wrote ‘Dal And Roti For Lunch Too’ in his caption. It was clear from Too in his post that he had got the same food before. In the photo he shared, he had only one plate containing both lentils and roti.
Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer retweeted the post shared by the Australian cricketer and shared a meme. In the meme shared by Jafar, a man is holding a plate of food in one hand, which has lentils in one bowl and rice in the other bowl. This food is served well. The Indian legend’s gesture was clear that how the Australian team was being fed in Pakistan.
Significantly, the first Test of the current series against Pakistan and Australia was played in Rawalpindi which ended in a disappointing draw. After this, the second Test match is being played in Karachi from Saturday 12 March 2022. In this match, Marnus Labuschagne was run out without opening an account. After this in this series, a Test will be played in Lahore from March 21 to 25. Then from March 29 to April 2, three ODIs and a one-off T20 will be played on April 5.
