Under this rule, if a player lasts for 45 days on a foreign tour, the player’s wife and a child under 18 years of age can stay with them for two weeks. If a player breaks this rule, then the coach, captain and GM operation will be responsible for this. The player will have to bear the expenses after the due date.
Virat Kohli has expressed his response to this rule. Virat Kohli says that if you ask any player if you want your family all the time, then everyone will say yes. Nobody wants to sit alone in their room because the player wants to be completely normal.
In such a situation, if leaked reports are to be believed, BCCI can relax this rule. According to reports, if a player takes permission from the board, then he can keep his family with him for a long time. Source of BCCI said that, if any player wants their family to stay with them for a long time, then they can apply for permission. After this, the BCCI will also take a decision regarding this.
