At the same time, facelift models of companies like Maruti, Toyota can also be launched. Many of these models will be in your budget. 1. Honda City e:HEV Hybrid
Honda Cars India has commenced production of the 2022 Honda City e:HEV at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. The first unit of this hybrid sedan will be rolled out in May. The sedan is India’s first strong hybrid electric car in the mainstream segment. Honda City Hybrid has now become the most fuel efficient mid-size sedan car in the country. It gives mileage of 26.5 kmpl in one liter of petrol. The company has already started booking this hybrid sedan. It can be booked at Honda dealerships with a token amount of Rs 21,000. It can also be booked by paying Rs 5,000 on the company’s official website.

2. Mercedes C-Class
Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will launch the 2022 C-Class in India on May 10. Mercedes has already opened its bookings till April 30 for existing Mercedes-Benz car owners. It will be opened for mass customers from May 1. The booking amount for the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class is Rs.50,000. The 2022 Mercedes C-Class will be available in 3 variants – C200, C220d and C300d (top-end). It will compete directly with the BMW 3-Series in its segment.
3. Kia EV6
Kia has announced its first electric car in the Indian market. According to the company, its first electric car in the EV segment will be the EV6. The design, quality and features of the EV6 have been tailored for the global market. The bookings for this car in India will start from May 26, 2022. Only 100 units of the new Kia EV6 will be sold in India. It is believed that if the 58 kWh-R battery pack also gets the Kia EV6, then it will generate 170 Bhp power and 350 Nm peak torque. This will increase the range of the vehicle to more than 500Km in a single charge. It will get a fast charger, which will charge the car up to 80% in 20 minutes.

4. Skoda Kushaq Monet Carlo Edition
Skoda will launch the Monte Carlo edition of its flagship SUV Kushak on May 9. Black badging has been used instead of chrome for this car with a more sporty look. Due to which this SUV will look different from the regular model. It will also get different alloy wheels and Monte Carlo badging at the front. It is expected to get the same engine as the Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo. Its 1.0-litre petrol engine can generate power of 115 bhp and 1.5-litre engine can generate power of 150bhp.
5. Maruti and Toyota will also launch new cars
Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor and Toyota Motor are also included in the list of new cars to be launched in May. Maruti Suzuki may launch the facelift version of the Vitara Brezza sub-compact SUV later in May. Hyundai is also in the process of bringing a facelift version of the Venue. Apart from these two models, Maruti and Toyota may also offer CNG versions of the recently launched premium hatchbacks Baleno and Glanza.
