Devas. Rohini Kalam Dewas, player of Ju-Jitsu Association of India and Ju-Jitsu Association of Madhya Pradesh has been selected for World Games 2022 Birmingham, USA. It is a matter of pride for our country and the entire state. She is the first female player not only from the state of Madhya Pradesh, but from the whole of India, who will represent India in the Ju-Jitsu Martial Arts Games in the World Games. Ju-Jitsu Association of Madhya Pradesh President Vijendra Kharsodia said that Rohini Kalam has been selected for the 49 kg weight group in the Fighting System event at the World Games. Rohini Kalam is ranked tenth in the world. They were selected on the basis of their world ranking. Rohini Kalam has also won medals in many national and international competitions in the past, representing the state of the country. Ju-Jitsu sport is a part of prestigious sporting events of the world like Asian Games 2022 as well as World Games, World Combat Games, World Police Games, World University Games etc. Ju-Jitsu sport is fully recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Sports.
462 villages will get water from Narmada-Hatpipaliya irrigation project
Dewas. 462 villages will get water for irrigation from Narmada Hatpipaliya Irrigation Project. Pt. Ritesh Tripathi said that we have been running a movement for administrative approval of Narmada Hatpipalya Irrigation Project for a long time. MP Accepting the demand by the government, administrative approval has been given for Narmada Hatpipaliya Micro Irrigation Project. Administrative approval will be issued by the Narmada Valley Development Authority Department in the last week of March. In the said scheme, water will be available for irrigation to Annadata farmer brothers of total 462 villages, in which 242 villages of Dewas and Hatpipalia assembly have been included. 84 villages of Bagli tehsil, 49 villages of Satwas tehsil, 64 villages of Uday Nagar tehsil, Kannaud 21 of Tehsil and 2 villages of Barwah Tehsil are included. The above scheme will be available for irrigation of 129930 hectares of cubic meters of water.
